Dr Joseph Chikelue Obi says GMC Licensing is not compulsory for Medical Graduates to carry out Clinical Work in the United Kingdom . . .
The Highly Controversial Leader of Opposition against the General Medical Council and Chief Regulator of the Medical Licensing Commission (MLC) , Doctor Joseph Chikelue Obi, has publicly advised Ethnic Minority Doctors to comprehensively ignore any General Medical Council assertions that they cannot carry out all forms of UK Clinical Work without GMC Registration and Licensing.
Speaking in response to further questions concerning the increased number of Ethnic Minority Doctors who are publicly challenging the GMC, an exceedingly relaxed Professor Obi said :
" The General Medical Council (GMC) does not (and will never ever) have Limitless Statutory Powers to prevent any Qualified Medical Graduate from carrying out all forms of Clinical Work within the United Kingdom.
As far as you do not represent yourself as a GMC-Registered Medical Practitioner within the United Kingdom while lawfully performing certain Clinical Actions , Duties , Activities and Procedures which do not exclusively require GMC Registration or Licensing ; then the GMC cannot touch you - provided that you have a Solid Professional Body behind you.
I therefore publicly urge you all to comprehensively ignore any General Medical Council Correspondence which unlawfully states otherwise ; as there are very many hundreds of thousands of Nurses and other Healthcare Professionals in the UK who legally carry out thousands of Serious Clinical Procedures every single day - without any form of GMC Registration or Licensing whatsover."
