Employment Tribunals hear 2 GMC Racism Claims on the very same day - at 2 different locations . . . Both within the very same hour . . .
Whether such a highly eclectic trend maverickly continues or not , still remains to be seen ; but whatever ultimately happens , Wednesday the 12th of March 2008 will most probably go down in the General Medical Council's Legal Diary as Racism Wednesday . . .
At 1000 HRS GMT on that date , the General Medical Council duly found itself worrisomely standing before an Eminent Tribunal Judge in a desperate attempt to fight off a £10 Million Compensation Claim sensationally lodged by one particular Ethnic Minority Doctor at the London Central Employment Tribunal ; while at 1030 HRS GMT on the very same day (and within the very same hour) the Killjoy General Medical Council was bitterly appealing to the Employment Appeals Tribunal in relation to the GMC's flawed prosecution of the case of yet another different Ethnic Minority Doctor.
From what we lawfully gather , the General Medical Council had ruthlessly attempted to strategically postpone the cases , but the Legal Representatives of the Ethnic Minority Doctors successfully objected to the GMC's Formal Postponement Requests .
The totally embarrassed General Medical Council was then ashamedly forced to urgently hire an Additional Legal Team at the very last minute - at it's own corporate expense.
At the time of this Weekend Report , Official Legal Representatives for both of the Ethnic Minority Doctors were unavailable for comment.
